unfortunately this mod is unplayable. It messes up my screen resolution in full screen and in windowed mode it is too small to see and I can't change the window size. Also it's kind of slow compared to regular NT and Ultra Mod. I could get used to it if not for the other issues :/ Edit: messes up my screen resolution both in and out of windowed mode.
Gamepad support is currently broken. If attempting to connect a gamepad has resulted in the game becoming unresponsive or crashing, deleting your Critical Chair save file should fix the problem. You can access the file in the same location as your vanilla Nuclear Throne save: /AppData/Local/nuclearthrone
When starting (Critical Chair)...the startup sounds work and I clearly hear the game, but the screen is always black.
There is no firewall intrusion, or windows security intrusion. I own nuclear throne and I even placed Critical Chair inside the local files for nuclear throne. Am I missing something?
Edit: I even attempted compatibility trouble shooting with the DPI scaling through application and through system and still doesnt seem to work properly.
Hey! I downloaded that mod and everything was fine! But now, when i tried to switch controls type to gamepad and... Game restarted and now i cant play it! i pressed every goddamn button and nothing happens! (I'm using XBOX360 gamepad)

It looks like there was unexpected data read in from your save file. Deleting the bad save file should fix the issue. It should be located in the same place as your vanilla Nuclear Throne save file; delete the file called "criticalchair[1.18].sav". Let us know if you continue having any issues.
Otherwise, it sounds like you may need to turn your firewall off temporarily while downloading.
If you have successfully downloaded the mod and your computer is blocking it from running, you'll probably need to make an exception in your firewall or turn it off while playing.

No, it is a U19 mod; but if there's interest, some parts like weapons and/or characters might be ported to NTT.
